[Okay. Gonna go back there and crouch down, too.

He's just the puppy with him, though unfortunately his name is Evan. But he's still a cute dog, he can't help that, and he probably goes to try to sniff her.]

Easy, boy. [. . .] Hey, Steph. This the new hangout spot?

[ oh, dog. steph holds her hand out towards evan so he can get a proper sniff in before she goes in for a pet. ]

Yeah. It's the cool new spot.

Glad I'm one of the first to find out.

[Sitting. Just letting her pet the doggy.]

. . . I just wanted to check on you. We don't have to talk about it, if you don't want. But I know how it feels, so I wanted to check.

[vigilantics]

[ she goes quiet again, trying to figure out what to say. ]

I think I'm still processing.

Yeah. It's weird, when it's here. There's the weirdness of knowing they're still around and will probably send postcards, but also they aren't?

[ she nods her head. ]

And... you wonder what you could have done to make this not happen. Which, I get is stupid because of how these places work, but...

[ruffboi]

Yeah. [Softly.] I don't think you could ever not wonder that.

[vigilantics]

I'm a little... worried about why it's him. I don't know if it was just by chance, or if he was picked because he can be kind of mean...

Maybe I could have tried harder to get him to be friends with more people? I don't know.

[ruffboi]

Aww. I mean, I roomed with him, and I didn't think he was mean. Even though he said we had to clean the cabin.

[Listen. He did think he was a little bit of a tool. But that's okay.]

He was just kind of awkward. But it's obvious you guys cared about him, and he wasn't hurting anybody.

[vigilantics]

[ that makes her smile. it's probably the first actual genuine one she's managed. ]

He was pretty awkward, yeah. A loser.

Heh. [Smiling when she does.] Easy to tease. That's the best kind, huh?

[vigilantics]

Yeah. There's nothing better than someone easily flustered.

[ruffboi]

You'll just have to, uh, send him some saucy notes. Wherever they are now.

What if Evan can see them? That would be embarrassing.

[ruffboi]

Yeah, you don't wanna fluster the wrong guy. That's a toughie.

[vigilantics]

Maybe I can make it a puzzle?

[ruffboi]

Oh, smart. Anybody'd like getting a sex puzzle. A sexzzle.

[Giving Evan a scratch on his ears when he starts sniffing around, pushing him back over towards her.]

[ evan gets more pets. she will try to see if he'll go on her lap. ]

A sexzzle... the ultimate way to get the blood pumpin'.

[He will! He'll lick her face. He's a nice dog.]

Just don't make it so hard that he needs help solving it. That's my main sexzzle advice. I've sent a couple in my day, so I know what I'm talking about.

Just picturing Tsurumaru and Ogata and Evan all gathering around trying to solve it. Guess you might need to save the spicy stuff for when we all get back together again.

It'll let me think of something good then.

Yeah. Though, it goes faster than you'd think. Figure it's a couple more weeks of this shit before we figure out who to punch until they give it all up and give us the good end, right?

Yeah. Maybe it'll be a number between two weeks and whatever is the highest number of weeks... five?
