[Anyway, Steph can have a memory, too. It's here from 2:34 to 17:01. But the gist of the scene is that Magnus approaches Carey, a small blue dragonborn lady, to ask to train him in a more stealthy fighting style, which she does in exchange for Magnus helping her carve a duck as a present for her girlfriend. They talk a little about fighting styles and why Magnus is the way he is.]

Carey is the coolest. If you'd seen her in a real fight - the damage she can do is unreal even though she's tiny like that. I just wanted to be able to do some of what she can do.

Nah, that's a good idea. Even if you're already pretty good at one style of fighting, it's always good to broaden your horizons.

Yeah. My fighting style's always been about being tough, being able to take a lot of damage. And that works pretty well for our team. [He says this very fondly.] Taako's actually crazy powerful, but he gets hurt in a light breeze. Merle's a little better, but he can't tank a hit like I can.

But sometimes, if you're up against something really strong, being tough isn't gonna be enough.

[vigilantics]

... yeah, I know what you mean.

[ you can throw as many punches as you want, but sometimes you really do need to actually think your moves through. ]

Oh. He's the other member of our party. He's a cleric, worships Pan. Can cast healing spells and summon angels and stuff?

He's not that good at any of it. But he's a good guy.
