[Magnus is out near the bonfire, making kind of a face. He has Evan with him, and he's squinting at it, kind of.]

[ steph is stepping out of chipmunk cabin, her arm full of. stuff. when she spots magnus, she walks over to him. ]

Hey. Want a shirt?

[ruffboi]

A shirt. . . ?

[He looks totally started by this question, and immediately blurts out]

Yeah, I usually wear a shirt these days because I've put on some weight!

[vigilantics]

[ she blinks. ]

You'll look fine without one?

[ but she's holding out one anyway ]

[Taking. . . it?]

Thanks. That means a lot! Don't worry, I just keep blurting out embarrassing things about my feelings.

Uh - is your curfew thing t-shirts?

[vigilantics]

Yes. Well, clothes, I guess.

Want matching socks?

[ruffboi]

Absolutely, I do.

[Holding out his hands for matching socks.]

I'm gonna guess. . . the clothing store.

[vigilantics]

[ they are fuzzy! nice! ]

Yup. [ ... ] There's also prints near the isolation cabin. And something that sounds like crying.

Crying? [Huh.] Creepy?

[Anyway.] The bonfire stinks, like something chemical got burned there. There's shrapnel around the campfire, too.

[vigilantics]

... it could be either a killer or victim, depending on what happened.

[ but hm... ]

I'm guessing we won't know what kind of shrapnel until tomorrow.

[ruffboi]

Yeah. I don't think so.

[He's frowning.]

Doesn't seem like useful - just an idea of where to look, I guess.

[vigilantics]

Yeah, but I'm reeeally hoping that one Friday they will accidentally slip and give us the killer's name.

[ruffboi]

[Smiling a little.]

Yeah. Maybe there'll be footprints around the bonfire that spell out Ogata 2.

No wonder we can't catch them...
