[ at some point on friday, beau comes wandering to find magnus. her knuckles are bloody and unwrapped and she - looks like she maybe has been in a fight or two, but. it's fine, she looks better than she did earlier, weirdly enough.

when she finds him, she takes a deep breath, and then: ] I'm sorry.

[He's cleaned up in the meantime - he has a healed scar around his neck, but that's it.]

Don't be sorry. You okay? You get in a fight?

-- Oh, yeah. It's fine, we've got a pack of rowdy assholes in this camp. It was mostly therapeutic.

[ she shakes out her fist. ] I am, though. Sorry, I didn't mean to yell at you. You guys just scared the fuck out of me.

You don't need to apologize! I can take a yelling or two. You aren't the first one to yell at me for being reckless.

[ she folds her arms across her chest. ]

I'm more mad at Phoenix than anything, so it works out. [ sniff. ] I'm glad you're not dead.

... Yeah. [ she sniffs. ] My real dad is -- I'm not on speaking terms with him. But Phoenix has... he's done a lot for me.

I get that. It's easy to get close to people in places like this. He seems like a good guy.

He is. I don't think he always thinks so, but he is. He looks after the kids here, he's nice to the directors, and he's smarter than he lets on.

[ she stans ] And he's died before, so I was a little pissed when he vanished yesterday.

[ worried, beau. you mean worried. ]

I'd be pissed, too. But he didn't do anything super reckless. Just came along when we broke in someplace. Feel like any of us would, knowing how often those lead to important info.

I know. I probably would've gone too. [ her jaw works. ]

Did you guys even find anything?

[ruffboi]

Nah. A couple magical items, but I'd categorize them as just okay. Nothing useful.

. . . My advice would be, don't bother. Between this and Lili's group, it feels like - they're just using these to fuck with us.

That's what it sounds like. Which is irritating, because I feel like we got some sort of clues from the rooms before in our game, but. I guess not this time.

Well, if it was me, I'd do it again anyway, just 'cause I'm a dipshit. But my official review is not worth it.
