Yeah. Somebody asked me how to make one. But I thought it'd be a little complicated for a beginner. Next time I'll know, huh?

I'm sure you can do some makeup lessons later.

[ coming over to sit down..... though he just doesn't look at the fire. ]

You didn't wait for us to all test out our curfew effects at the same time, tonight. Not that it really makes a difference in the trial, but it make me curious.

Almost like I expected some people might start suspecting me right out the gate, and wanted to get ahead of it, huh?

For the record, I'm pretty sure I know why it had to happen. I'm not so concerned with the 'who', at this point... but more if people are going to let their grief derail what we're trying to do, if they think they know the 'who'.

[Maybe that's why he's carving a lion, to make up for his tiger crimes. But he smiles a little bit at that.]

I think I agree with you. I think that's a smart way of looking at it. But I don't know how to help you find the 'who.'

. . . Or how to stop the grief. Dimitri is pretty well loved around here, after all. A real decent and kind kid. I wish I was as clear as you are in understanding why it had to happen.

Don't think there's really a way to stop the grief. Just direct it, maybe, at something other than each other.

You're probably right about that. Though apparently being sad makes pink snake stronger? Who fuckin' knows.

[He's. Okay with it, if the Snake is strong.]

I just, uh - I just think a lot of people are trying to do their best with the cards they've been dealt. But for some of us, the only card we have is 'solve murders.' Not that we've been doing a great job at that.

If that's all we can do to help, makes sense why you wouldn't question whether it even is helping.

That's what I've heard. And it seems like we're going to have to factor for our pink buddy, no matter what.

Think it's a tall order to sort out evidence for four or plus bodies, find a body, then solve the case, all in nine hours, anyway.... but I get that. Trials were my bread and butter, too. It really helped, at the mansion -- when killers were being possessed. Here, though? It's a lot more complicated.

Yeah. It's easier to accuse somebody, too, of being a demon. If you're wrong, you didn't say shit about them, just the demon.

It's harder to say your buddy, or your buddy's buddy, might've done it as themself.

[slobjection]

True. In a way, you're doing them a service.... no one really wants to be controlled into murder.

And there's the team situation, too, though that's looking up right now.

Yeah. At this point, the team situation doesn't matter - though we should probably be careful with Winter's team.

[slobjection]

Hmm... yeah. Relieved there's only one body this week -- hopefully that doesn't escalate before we can go on with the next merge.

Yeah. I heard some notes being passed around saying we should keep it at one. So - that's gotta be a priority.

You heard some rumblings about someone wanting revenge?
