[it's mid-afternoon, almost evening, when Akira seeks out Magnus, finding him hanging out by the bonfire. thank goodness he didn't have to look all over camp for him]

So? Did you bring it?

The s'mores. Duh.

[nobody can brood around a campfire without s'mores, right?]

Oh! I don't know what those are. I've only ever heard of Taako's Ooey Gooeys.

[But somehow he knows those are the same as s'mores.]

week three, tuesday

[wow it sure has been a gross few days outside. Akira's poncho has been seeing a lot of usage, especially since he has been working extra hard to keep his poor injured eyepatch bandages dry]

[he catches Magnus in the mess hall after ducking out of the rain, shaking water droplets from his poncho]

Oh-- hey, Magnus. What's up?

[ruffboi]

Akira! Hey!

[Waving to see him! He's also drying off, getting out of the rain with a wet pooch.]

Trying to stay dry?

"Trying" is a good word for it. It isn't easy in this weath--

[weather. but he's cut off as he looks up, catching Magnus's gaze with his own, and thus trigger A MEMORY (27:10 onwards)]

Honestly? Magnus like. Takes this memory fairly in stride. A lot happens in TAZ, it's fine. They've met gods before. They don't have a Judeo-Christian religion. It's fine?]

Whoa. Guess you're a pretty high level cleric, huh! My buddy can summon angels and stuff, but not any as big as that.

[as far as memories go, that one isn't so bad!! but even so Akira coughs into his hand, his stance suddenly a bit awkward]

[it's after the execution that Akira approaches Ram cabin and lifts one fist to knock politely on the door]

Magnus? Are you there?

[He'll come and open the door? Taako isn't here - let's say he's off stress baking. But he'll nod at Akira.]

Hey. What's up?

Hey-- [giving a small smile and a wave]

How's Taako? And how are you holding up?

[ruffboi]

He's more worried than he's acting, I think. But. I'm doing okay.

[He gives him a smile back, kind of amused and curious.]

I guess he was lucky he didn't lose an arm, but--

[well. Akira doesn't know what the tattoo means, so. . . he can't comment any further]

And good. But there is something I want to talk to you about.

[it's easier to talk when he isn't standing in the doorway]

week 5; friday

[Later on Friday evening, Magnus will come to try and find Akira.]

[Akira isn't difficult to find! he looks tired-- especially after his adventures the day before-- but he's in the kitchen making himself some coffee]

[he lifts his head to greet Magnus with a wave]

[He'll start making himself a drink? Something harder than coffee.]
