Yeah. He had to have his arm cut off in order to save his life [passive voice is doing a lot of work here], but his god blessed him with a magical tree arm that's even better than his old arm.

what's sad is that fits right into some crazy japanese folklore that he might have heard before so sadly he's going to accept it. and kind of be impressed that there are some things that overlap.

Anyway - I was wondering something. Do you have a bead on what the prizes this week were? Did you get a chance to talk to any of your buds?

A bead? No, that's not a prize that I won, but it was my team that won. The item that received were these chip sort of things. They'd be able to tell whether or not an action would fail of succeed after choosing a side.

[ you know? like a coin toss. heads = win. tails = fail. ...except choose your own odds. and he'll shake his head when magnus asks about the other prize. ]

I haven't been able to speak to the other teammates that I know of.

Huh. Powerful! But less useful for solving a murder as some of the other stuff.
