[Wow! He was on his way to go introduce sweet Evan to the other dogs. But nodding!]

[Holding out his arm against his hip so they can link arms? That's necessary for a date.]

[ he can still do that, and watch phoenix get bitten by every dog in the world. ]

How's the new friend?

[ and why is he named evan ]

Isn't he adorable? You can pet him if you want!

[He sure looks friendly! But he's also such a big dog that you might not survive if he bit you.]

[ chew on his pant leg, evan. ]

Why Evan, by the way? Shouldn't be Tsurumaru?

Oh. The name just sounded fun to me. Wow, I guess it is pretty similar to the Evan who died. Well, that's okay. He was a nice kid!

[Magnus, you liar. Anyway Evan is absolutely chewing his pant leg.]

[ believable..... also yeah, that's definitely happening. phoenix doesn't even look bothered. ]

Don't worry, he's super friendly. He'll probably stop after a little while.

I thought I'd check out the petting farm, introduce Evan to some of his cousins.

Any time now would be good.... I don't want to have to go back to jorts.

[ but he is just suffering this dog chewing and saliva. ]

Yeah. Best kind of date you can imagine.

[No deal. Evan can continue slobbering on his pants. Though as they start walking, Evan bounds forward, ahead, and then runs back to sort of playfully nip at Phoenix's heels.]

So, what type of animal is your fave?

Fuzzy ones, I suppose. Or fish.

[ the bar is so low though he doesn't like animals.... ]

Dog is up there, but I'm a big fan of bears, since they're sort of my mentor animal, and fish, since one of my best friends is a goldfish.

Sounds like there's a story here.

Not much of one. I have a little goldfish named Steven who likes to swim around in his ball and loves me.

Pretty cute. I had fish when I was younger.

[ they all died bc he can't take care of them ]

Just because I have Evan now doesn't mean he's replaced Steven in my heart.
