Ranpo Edogawa's later behavior at trial reinforced my belief that he had no desire to see murders committed by Reapers solved.

You really saw a shot and went for it, huh? I've had my suspicions about some people for a while, but never wanted to take out somebody I wasn't sure about. It was risky.
Two weeks ago, I would've said it paid off, and I woulda really admired you for taking that chance. But now, I'm not so sure.
